A 3 night vacation getaway.
COST: $395 PER PERSON
Think it is only the guys who can get away for a winter break? Think again! You and your friends will stay in a delightful 3 bedroom apartment in a 150 year old historic building in the idyllic, quaint town of Montgomery Center for this 3 night vacation.
Arrive in the evening and enjoy a dinner voucher for $20 per person at an area restaurant.
Day 2. 9 a.m. – noon. Dogsledding with Montgomery Adventures. You will have a one hour introduction to dog-sledding and mushing. Learn to harness the dogs and get ready to explore the northern woods on a one hour dogsled ride. You’ll travel through a Maple forest and learn about how to tap the trees to get maple sugar. You will be able to handle the sled yourself whilst accompanied by an experienced musher for your safety and confidence. Afterwards, enjoy a hot beverage.
Return to Montgomery Center for lunch at an area restaurant. You will be given a $10 per person voucher.
2 – 4 pm. Head out on a guided snowshoe tour to a hidden waterfall in the woods. Snowshoes are provided.
Return to the Coach House and cook a delicious meal for old times’s sake. We will provide a bottle of wine for the celebration.
Day 3. 8.30 a.m. you will drive to Jay Peak Resort which is an 8 minute drive away. Once there, you will select your equipment followed by a 2 hour group lesson and then enjoy your new skiing or snowboarding skills on the beginner slopes of Jay Peak.
Return to Montgomery Center for a quiet evening at home or head out to an area restaurant and pub.
Day 4 – It is time to head home with memories of a fun-filled vacation full of laughter.
